Welcome to The Intentional Nursery.
The first year with a baby is one of the most overwhelming, beautiful, and exhausting stretches of life. We know this because we've watched the people we love go through it — sleep-deprived, second-guessing every decision, drowning in baby products that promised the world and delivered very little.
Little Beginnings Co. exists for a simple reason: new parents deserve better than the noise.
Why we started
There's no shortage of baby brands out there. Big-box stores selling everything to everyone. Influencer-pushed gadgets that gather dust. Cheap imports passed off as premium.
We wanted to build something quieter, and more thoughtful.
A small, carefully chosen collection of essentials — the kind of things that actually get used. The soft towel that wraps a baby after their first bath. The romper that becomes their favourite. The play mat that holds tummy time, first crawls, and a hundred forgotten moments in between.
Every product in our store is here because we believe in it. The ones that didn't make the cut — and there were many — aren't here at all.

🌏 Thoughtful shipping, worldwide. We ship from a small, vetted supplier network. Our products travel a long way to reach you, and we're upfront about that. Patience for arrival; quality on opening.
🇦🇺 Australian-founded, family-focused. We're based in Australia and we run things personally. When you email us, you're emailing a real person who genuinely wants to help.
A note from the founder
I'm the person behind Little Beginnings Co. — I founded this store solo, and I run every part of it: choosing the products, writing the guides, answering the emails, and packing the experience around each order.
I'm not going to pretend I've raised ten children or have decades of paediatric expertise. What I have is care, attention to detail, and a stubborn belief that small brands can serve parents better than the giants do — because we have to. Every order matters here.
If something we sell helps you breathe a little easier in those early months — even just a bath that ends in cuddles instead of chaos — then we've done our job.
